Curvulol
Curvulol is an antimicrobial agent with a polyketide structure. Curvulol can be isolated from Taxus baccata (Chaetosphaeronema achilleae) . Curvulol has a significant cytotoxicity against L929 and KB-3-1 cells, and strongly inhibits Staphylococcus aureus biofilm formation with a MIC of 64 μg/mL[1].
