Ergocristam
Ergocristam is an ergot alkaloid derivative. The formation mechanism of ergocristam involves the inversion of the L-proline configuration, which hinders the cyclization of ergot peptides. Ergocristam can be used as a marker to study the synthesis pathway of ergot alkaloids[1].
