Solstitialin A
Solstitialin A is a guaianolide-type sesquiterpene lactone. Solstitialin A can be isolated from Centaurea solstitialis L. ssp. Solstitialis. A mixture of solstitialin A and 13-acetyl solstitialin A has an inhibitory effect on ethanol- and Indomethacin (HY-14397) -induced ulcers. Solstitialin A can be used in research related to peptic ulcers[1].
