Asperenone
Asperenone is an inhibitor of 15-lipoxygenase (15-LOX) with an IC50 value of 0.3 mM. It is also an inhibitor of platelet aggregation, with an IC50 value of 0.23 mM. Additionally, Asperenone has antifungal activity and can inhibit the growth of pathogenic fungi Ophiostoma crassivaginatum and O. piliferum. Asperenone can be used in the research of cardiovascular diseases and anti-infection fields[1].
