Acremorin E (Compound 7) is a terpenoid compound with antifungal activity. Acremorin E exerts its anti-C. gattiii effect by upregulating genes related to biosynthesis and RNA binding of ribosomes, as well as inhibiting RNA and nucleic acid metabolism and ATPase activity (MIC: 8 μg/mL) [1].
