Minosaminomycin is an antibiotic containing myo-inosamine that can be extracted from Streptomyces No. MA514A1. Minosaminomycin exerts antimicrobial activity against Mycobacterium smegrnatis ATCC 607 and Mycobacterium phlei (MIC= 1.56/6.25 mcg/mL) [1].
