Espicufolin
Espicufolin is a neuroprotective substance that can be found in Streptomyces sp:cu39. Espicufolin can inhibit glutamate toxicity, thereby reducing or overcoming cerebral ischemic damage, with a toxicity EC50 value of 40 nM for N18-RE-105 cells. Espicufolin can be used in the study of neurodegenerative diseases[1].
