Ophiobolin D

Ophiobolin D is a terpenoid antibiotic found in Cochliobulus miyabeanus and has four components A, B, C and D. A, B, C have anti-Gram-positive bacteria, mycobacteria and fungi, and have a strong inhibitory effect on some plant pathogens. D has a weak inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus[1].
