Madindoline A
Madindoline A is an IL-6 inhibitor. Madindoline A inhibits IL-6-dependent MH-60 cells and has no inhibitory effect on IL-6-independent MH-60 cells. In the presence of 0.1 U/mL IL-6, it inhibits IL-6-dependent MH-60 cells with an IC50 of 8 μM. Madindoline A has no antimicrobial effect[1].
