Schisanchinin D
Schisanchinin D is an NO release inhibitor found in the fruits of Schisandra chinensis. Schisanchinin D can inhibit the release of nitric oxide (NO) by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) -activated microglia in primary murine BV2 microglia cells. Schisanchinin D is promising for research of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) [1][2].
