T4 lysozyme
T4 lysozyme is derived from a recombinant E.coli strain and can lyse bacterial cell walls. T4 lysozyme acts on the peptidoglycan of bacterial cell walls and hydrolyzes the β-1,4 bond between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetylglucosamine[1].
