Cyclam
Cyclam is a metal chelator that forms metal complexes with a variety of metal ions. Cyclam metal complexes exhibits anti-HIV (such as AMD3100), nitric oxide (NO) releasing and scavenging (such as Zn (II) -Cyclam and Ru (II) -Cyclam), and SOD mimetic (such as Mn (III) -Cyclam and Zn (II) -Cyclam) activities[1].
