Butriptyline (hydrochloride)
Butriptyline (Butriptylene) hydrochloride is an orally active tricyclic antidepressant that slightly enhances central 5-HT effects. Butriptyline hydrochloride does not inhibit brain norepinephrine uptake. Butriptyline hydrochloride can be used for depression research[1][2][3].
