Dibenzosuberone belongs to the family of tricyclic antidepressant drugs, commonly referred to as Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), and is widely used in research on migraine, tension headaches, anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia. Dibenzosuberone is also a key intermediate in the synthesis of various active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), such as Amitriptyline (HY-B0527), Nortriptyline (HY-118620), Noxiptiline or Cyproheptadine (HY-B1622) [1].
