Acyclovir elaidate (P-4010) is an orally active anti-HSV compound and Acyclovir (HY-17422) derivative. Acyclovir elaidate has the effect of ameliorating the symptoms of clinical disease in the experimental female guinea pig model of genital herpes[1].
