SDZ-FOX-988
SDZ-FOX-988 (FOX-988) is an orally active antidiabetic agent. SDZ-FOX-988 sequesters mitochondrial coenzyme A to inhibit carnitine palmitoyltransferase II. SDZ-FOX-988 induces mitochondrial injury. SDZ-FOX-988 causes a decrease in serum β-hydroxybutyrate or glucose. SDZ-FOX-988 can be used in the research of type 2 diabetes[1][2].
