GP1 precursor has high affinity to GPIIb/IIIa receptors of activated platelets. GP1 precursor can be radiolabeled with [18F] and used as a PET Tracer for visualizing active platelet aggregation at the molecular level. GP1 precursor can be used for the detection of Thrombi[1].
