Lorotomidate
Lorotomidate (Example 16) is a GABAA receptor agonist. Lorotomidate has anaesthetic effects (ED50: i.v., 2 mg/kg in KM mice; LD50: 46.5 mg/kg in KM mice) . Lorotomidate has no inhibitory effect on the secretion of corticosteroids in animals, and thus has good safety[1].
