DBCO-PEG-NHS (MW 10000) is a PEG derivative consisting of DBCO, PEG units, and NHS ester. NHS ester can bind to amino acids or other molecules containing amino groups. DBCO-PEG-NHS (MW 10000) contains a DBCO group and can undergo a strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition reaction (SPAAC) with molecules containing an azide group[1].
