Ferroleuton
Ferroleuton is a competitive, selective inhibitor for 5-lipoxygenase with an IC50 of 0.21 μM. Ferroleuton exhibits antioxidant activity in DPPH (scavenges 86% DPPH-H at 50 μM), ABTS (EC50=19.42 μM) and FRAP (EC50=3.32 μM) assays[1].
