Cbz- (S, S) -Pro-Pro-allyl (compound 1a) is a dual inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 and 5-lipoxygenase with IC50 values of 0.146 nM, 0.003 nM, 0.64 nM for COX-1, COX-2, 5-LOX, respectively. Cbz- (S, S) -Pro-Pro-allyl has anti-inflammatory activity[1].
