Ergothioneine sulfonate

Ergothioneine sulfonate is a sulfonated derivative of ergothioneine (HY-N1914) with antioxidant activity. Ergothioneine sulfonate is converted to a stable sulfonic acid form via a redox reaction. Ergothioneine sulfonate can be used to study the disease mechanisms associated with inflammation and oxidative stress[1].
