Antimicrobial agent-36 (Compound 8b) is an antimicrobial agent that significantly inhibits the level of DNA gyrase, with an IC50 value of 4.56 µM. Antimicrobial agent-36 can also be used for the preparation of nanopharmaceutical formulations, for the research and development of novel antibiotics[1].
