1,2-Diarachidoyl-rac-glycerol (DG (20:0/20:0/0:0) ) is a diacylglycerol in which both acyl groups are acyl groups of arachidonic acid. 1,2-Diarachidoyl-rac-glycerol can be used to enhance the skin barrier function and maintain the moisture and lipid balance of the skin as a diacylglycerol derivative[1].
