BChE-IN-39 (Compound 7c) is a selective inhibitor for butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) with an IC50 of 0.08 μM (IC50=3.98 μM for AChE) . BChE-IN-39 downregulates the GSK-3β expression, inhibits the hyperphosphorylation of tau protein[1].
