SL-89.0591 is a uroselective α1-adrenoceptor antagonist. SL-89.0591 exhibits a more potent blocking effect on urethral receptors than on vascular receptors in anesthetized rabbits, with a lower risk of orthostatic hypotension. SL-89.0591 can be used in research related to benign prostatic hyperplasia[1].
