Brivoligide (AYX1) sodium is a double-stranded, unprotected, 23 base-pair oligonucleotide. Brivoligide sodium can reduce acute post-surgical pain. Brivoligide sodium mimics the DNA sequence normally bound by EGR1 on chromosomes[1].
