Gadopenamide
Gadopenamide is a gadolinium (Gd) extracellular contrast agent used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) . Gadopenamide is a chelate of gadolinium (Gd³⁺), with the ligand being DTPA-dimorpholylamide. Gadopenamide has excellent overall tolerance and its acute intravenous injection toxicity is very low. Gadopenamide can be used in MRI to enhance image clarity[1].
