13-O-Desmethyl tacrolimus (13-DMT; 13-O-Demethyl FK 506) is the main metabolite of Tacrolimus. 13-O-Desmethyl tacrolimus has a weak immunosuppressive activity. 13-O-Desmethyl tacrolimus is mainly used in the research on monitoring Tacrolimus (HY-13756) by monitoring the ratio of 13-DMT/Tacrolimus[1].
