Biotin-PEG-Amine (MW 5000) (Biotin-PEG-NH2 (MW 5000) ) is a biotin PEG polymer containing a free amine group (-NH2) . The amine group is reactive with an activated NHS ester via formation of an amide bond. Biotin-labeled compounds can then be linked to avidin or streptavidin for further purification or detection[1].
