1-Iodoadamantane
1-Iodoadamantane is a 1-substituted adamantane derivative. On a silver electrode in aprotic solvents, 1-Iodoadamantane can be reduced to form a mixture of adamantane and 1,1'-biadamantane without insonation, while only adamantane is formed under the action of 10 kHz insonation[1][2].
