Desogestrel (Org-2969) is a third-generation progesterone analogue contained in many oral contraceptive preparations. Desogestrel is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups[1][2][3][4].
