Negamycin (hydrochloride)
Negamycin (hydrochloride) is a dipeptide antibiotic. Negamycin (hydrochloride) can restore dystrophin expression in skeletal and cardiac muscles in mdx Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) murine model. Negamycin (hydrochloride) can bind to a partial sequence of the eukaryotic rRNA-decoding A-site. Negamycin (hydrochloride) can be studied in DMD research[1].
