Pimilprost (SM 10902) is a prostaglandin I1 analogue. Pimilprost exhibits antithrombotic and increases cAMP levels. Pimilprost can promote wound healing through the stimulation of angiogenesis and the improvement of blood flow in diabetic mice. Pimilprost can be used for the research of metabolic and cardiovascular disease, such as diabetes[1][2].
