α-Epibromide
α-Epibromide (16α-Bromoepiandrosterone) is an adrenal steroid derivative. α-Epibromide decreases nitric oxide production. α-Epibromide restores T helper cell type 1 activity and accelerates chemotherapy-induced bacterial clearance in a model of progressive pulmonary tuberculosis. α-Epibromide reduces mortality related to excessive inflammation and opportunistic lung infections[1][2].
