Centpropazine
Centpropazine (CNPZ) is a brain-penetrant and non-selective antagonist of serotonin (5-HT1/5-HT2) and adrenergic (α1) receptors. Centpropazine functions by modulating monoamine neurotransmission, particularly reducing serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake, to exert antidepressant effects. Centpropazine is promising for research of depression[1].
