OVCAR-3/STAT5 Reporter (Luc) stable cell line

OVCAR-3/STAT5 Reporter (Luc) cells are derived from the human ovarian adenocarcinoma cell line OVCAR-3 by stably integration of a STAT5 firefly luciferase reporter construct. OVCAR-3 cells are known to express high levels of the estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR), are sensitive to hormones such as estradiol and progesterone, and have been used to investigate hormone-related signaling pathways and treatments. OVCAR-3/STAT5 Reporter (Luc) cells stably express firefly luciferase under the control of the STAT5 response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of STAT5 signaling pathway.
