OVCAR-3/STAT3 Reporter (Luc) stable cell line

OVCAR-3/STAT3 Reporter (Luc) cells are derived from the human ovarian adenocarcinoma cell line OVCAR-3 by stably integration of a STAT3 firefly luciferase reporter construct. OVCAR-3 cells are known to express high levels of the estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR), are sensitive to hormones such as estradiol and progesterone, and have been used to investigate hormone-related signaling pathways and treatments. OVCAR-3/STAT3 Reporter (Luc) cells stably express firefly luciferase under the control of the STAT3 response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of STAT3 signaling pathway.
