OVCAR-3 SMAD/TGFbeta Reporter (Luc) stable cell line

OVCAR-3 SMAD/TGFbeta Reporter (Luc) cells are derived from the human ovarian adenocarcinoma cell line OVCAR-3 by stably integration of a SMAD/TGFbeta firefly luciferase reporter construct. OVCAR-3 cells are known to express high levels of the estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR), are sensitive to hormones such as estradiol and progesterone, and have been used to investigate hormone-related signaling pathways and treatments. OVCAR-3 SMAD/TGFbeta Reporter (Luc) cells stably express firefly luciferase under the control of the SMAD/TGFbeta response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of TGF?/SMAD signaling pathway.
