HEK293 SMAD/TGFbeta Reporter (GFP) cells are derived from the human immortalized embryonic kidney cell line HEK 293 by stably integration of a SMAD/TGFbeta GFP reporter construct. The HEK293 cell line has been widely used in signal transduction, cancer research and drug development. HEK293 SMAD/TGFbeta Reporter (GFP) cells express GFP under the control of the SMAD/TGFbeta response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of TGF?/SMAD signaling pathway.
