Arecaidine
Arecaidine, a pyridine alkaloid, is a potent GABA uptake inhibitor. Arecaidine is a substrate of H+-coupled amino acid transporter 1 (PAT1, SLC36A1) and competitively inhibits L-proline uptake[1][2].
