N- (acid-PEG10) -N-bis (PEG10-azide) is a widely utilized PEG reagent featuring a terminal carboxylic acid and two azide groups. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous media. The azide groups can react with alkynes, BCN, or DBCO via Click Chemistry to create stable triazole linkages. The terminal carboxylic acid can form robust amide bonds by reacting with primary amine groups in the presence of activating agents such as EDC or HATU.
