ATP sulfase, yeast is a type of ATP sulfate protease. It catalyzes the activation of sulfate by transferring the sulfate group to the adenosine monophosphate moiety of ATP, resulting in the formation of adenosine-5’-phosphosulfate (APS) and pyrophosphate (PPi) .
