Phaseolus vulgarisLectin-P is a protein form of Phytohemagglutinin obtained prior to isolating and purifying Phytohemagglutinin-L (PHA-L) and PHA-E. It can be used to stimulate the proliferation of peripheral mononuclear cells, enhance the production of certain cytokines, and promote the expression of membrane surface proteins.
