SHBG (141–161)

SHBG 141–161 is an agonist of the GPRC6A receptor. It mimics the effects of the endogenous agonist, uncarboxylated osteocalcin, by binding to GPRC6A and promoting downstream signaling, which leads to increased secretion of testosterone and insulin. Additionally, SHBG 141–161 binds to the extracellular domain of GPRC6A, reducing its affinity for GDP proteins, thereby influencing the dynamics of signal transduction.
