MSIRK (L9A) is a cell-penetrating, N-myristoylated G protein-binding peptide (mSIRK) that includes a single point mutation where Leu9 is replaced with Ala. This modification prevents mSIRK (L9A) from enhancing ERK1/2 phosphorylation, making it useful as a control peptide.
