Echinotocin

Echinotocin, a neuropeptide found in sea urchins, exhibits muscle contractile activity. It induces contractions in the sea urchin's tube feet and esophagus. Echinotocin is utilized to study the role of neuropeptides in the physiology and behavior of invertebrates.
