Ccβ

Ccβ is a synthetic peptide consisting of 17 amino acid residues that was designed for research purposes. It has the capability to mimic the conformational transition from α-helix (α-helix) to β-sheet (β-sheet), a crucial step in the aggregation process of many disease-related proteins, such as those implicated in Alzheimer's Disease and prion diseases. ccβ is therefore utilized in the study of diseases associated with protein aggregation.
