Arborcandin C is an inhibitor of 1,3-?-glucan synthase, functioning as an antifungal antibiotic. It exhibits IC50 values of 0.15 ?g/mL against Candida albicans (C. albicans) and 0.015 ?g/mL against Aspergillus fumigatus (A. fumigatus) . The compound's minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) for Candida species ranges from 1-2 ?g/mL.
