Neobulgarone B is an anthraquinone derivative from the ascomycete fungus Neobulgaria pura HA A07-97. It inhibits the formation of appressoria by Magnaporthe oryzae and exhibits mild cytotoxicity without antifungal, antibacterial, or phytotoxic effects.
